Rachel Bolding - Dance Instructor


Rachel began her dance training at the age of 4 at Elizabeth Williams School of Dance in Sevierville, TN. She went on to join the studios competitive teams at the age of 8, and continued training extensively in ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, pom, hip hop. and tumbling while competing regionally and nationally. While dancing competitively, Rachel began working as a student teacher and also choreographed for several middle and high school dance and cheer teams in the area. She was an original cast member in the Great Smoky Mountain Dance Theatre's production of "The Nutcracker", where she performed for many years and held many soloist, demi-soloist and principal roles such as the Snow Queen and Sugar Plum Fairy. After graduating high school, Rachel attended the University of Memphis where she was a member of the Memphis Pom Squad.


Rachel joined the Showstars teaching staff in 2011, and since then has choreographed many group numbers and solos that have won various top overall and choreography awards at regional and national competitions. She has over 18 years of teaching experience and enjoys working with children of all ages and levels! She holds certification in Ballet instruction from the Southern Association of Dance Masters and is a member of USA Gymnastics.


Outside of the studio, Mrs. Rachel works as a Labor and Delivery Nurse and enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 sons. Mrs. Rachel's favorite part of teaching is watching her students find joy in and develop a love for the art of dance!
