Kelsey Slade - Dance Instructor

Kelsey was one of the first dancers at Showstars when the studio opened in 1999! She danced at the studio until she graduated high school in 2013. Through her time there, she competed with the all star teams winning many awards. She helped teach classes as a student assistant, which is where she fell in love with teaching.

Kelsey graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2017 with her bachelors degree in early childhood education. She now teaches special education at Brighton Elementary.

After returning home to Tipton County, Kelsey started teaching at the studio again. Her favorite part of teaching is seeing the joy and excitement of when a student masters a new skill!
