Kelsey Brooks- Dance and Acrobatics Instructor

Kelsey is the daughter of Julie Brooks. She has taught at Showstars since 2018 and has been dancing there for 20 years! Kelsey is a certified instructor from the Southern Association of Dance Masters and is also certified through USA Gymnastics. Kelsey spent her first year of college on the University of Memphis Pom team and transferred to the University of Alabama where she  received her B.A. with a minor in Dance Therapy.

Kelsey attended the Governors School for the Arts in 2017. Kelsey received many scholarships throughout her dance years spent at Showstars. She attended dance intensives all throughout the country. Throughout the years, Kelsey's competitive soloists and groups for Showstars have received multiple awards and top placements.

Kelsey’s favorite thing about teaching at Showstars is seeing the growth of each student. “It is truly unmatched to see each and every student grow not only as dancers, but as individuals as well.”
