Kelsey Brooks- Dance and Acrobatics Instructor

Kelsey is the daughter of Julie Brooks. She has taught at Showstars since 2018 and has been dancing there for 20 years! Kelsey is a certified instructor from the Southern Association of Dance Masters and is continuing her dance education along with physical therapy at the University of Alabama. 

Kelsey attended the Governors School for the Arts in 2017. Kelsey has received many scholarships throughout her dance years spent at Showstars. She has been able to do dance intensives all throughout the country. Kelsey spent her first year of college on the University of Memphis Pom team. Kelsey auditioned for Dance Alabama and is now finishing up her Dance degree at the University of Alabama. In Kelsey's first year of teaching competitive soloists and groups for Showstars all of her routines placed in the top 3 at every competition.  

Kelsey’s favorite thing about teaching at Showstars is seeing the growth of each student. “It is truly unmatched to see each and every student grow not only as dancers, but as individuals as well.”
